Screamer Guitar Tablature
Song: Screamer
Artist: Good Charlotte

This song needs two guitars for the full effect, but one guitar playing mostly rhythm is still ok. One guitar should play the Intro riff throughout, except in the chorus and verses, and the other should play rhythm guitar throughout except in the first verse.

Chords:

	  A B E G#
E|--------0--------0--------0--------4--------|
B|--------0--------0--------0--------4--------|
G|--------6--------8--------1--------5--------|
D|--------7--------9--------2--------6--------|
A|--------7--------9--------2--------6--------|
E|--------5--------7--------0--------4--------|

Intro:

E|------------------------17-----16-----|
B|----------------------------------------|
G|----------------16---------------------|
D|--------14-----------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------|

Do this riff 8x with just guitar 1 on distortion, then guitar 2 comes in on distortion with these chords with 2 quarters on the E or A, and a triplet and two eighths on the B.

Verse:

E|--------------------------------4---------------------------------------5p4-------------------|
B|----------------5---------------------------------------5----------------------5--------------|
G|--------4--------------4-----------------------4---------------4----------------------4------|
D|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Play that riff 3x on clean. In the second verse, guitar 2 plays the chorus pattern on clean.

Prechorus:

E|--------5----------------------5------------------------7----------------------7--------------|
B|----------------5------------------------5----------------------5----------------------7------|
G|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Play that twice on clean, then, on distortion, with the same rhythm as the intro:

E
B
A
B

On the second Prechorus, play this pattern through twice.

Chorus:

E
B
A
B

Play that pattern 6x with the same rhythm as the intro with the intro riff on the last two times all on distortion.

Bridge:

The rhythm is just 8 straight eighth notes per chord (on distortion).

B (2x)

Solo:

Guitar 1 can play this solo, and Guitar 2 can play the chorus pattern with two shots on the E and A and three triplets on the B. Both are on distortion.

E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------16|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------14------------14h16p14-------------------------------------14----------|
E|--------19-------14h16--------16------------------------16---------14-------14h16------16-----|

Ending:

Guitar 1, just play the intro riff, and guitar two should just play the chorus pattern until the very last “start screaming” and then should play straight eighths of the B chord for two full measures, and then end with one strum of the E chord. Both guitar 1 and 2 are on distortion.
